Camp IAWAH photos posted. need i say more?

my alarm went off at eight this morning
i still hadn't decided if i was going to help out with orientation but when a few minutes later my mother came in, she decided for me. which meant i had to rush to get ready in fifteen minutes and be in the car when my mom drove my sister to piano lessons. soon...by thursday i'll have my liscence...
sometimes i amaze myself at how fast i get ready. i was out the door in fifteen minutes flat but without breakfast. that's being clean, well dressed and WITH make-up. wow. slept through a traffic jam, went to atwater and dawson hoping to see familiar faces. didn't see as many as i'd expected BUT for once i didn't get lost. ran some errands, went to school, picked up brochures, paid my $1435 tuition and settled down to pass out brochures and invite first year students to join third world studies at marianopolis college. the high point of my day was the chocolate chip cookie i ate at 11 because afterward, it wasn't until 2:30 that i had my first meal of the day. it struck me that i was one of the smallest people there. that was when i found myself at eye level with the bicep of a first year guy. or maybe it was when i was asked if i was a first year student for the fourth time. the stale air in the metro and the odour of BO on the crowded bus didn't do much to improve my spirits. i thought i'd blog to commemorate this first day of the school year but supposedly, this is the best week of the semester.
it's only going downhill from here
great
